Abused & Homeless Childrens Refuge
Mission
For more than 50 years, Second Story has been transforming the lives of youth and their families by providing safe havens and opportunities to grow and thrive at critical turning points. Our programs include Second Story for Teens in Crisis, Second Story for Young Mothers, Second Story for Homeless Youth, and Second Story in the Community. Through these programs, we provide short- and long-term residential services and case management for youth experiencing homelessness or another crisis, after-school support through Safe Youth Projects and a Teen Center, and drop-in community services through Family Resources Centers. We offer language, computer, health literacy, parenting, and financial planning classes, as well as tutoring, food distribution, and other services for the community.

Our programs have grown and evolved as the needs of our community have changed, and we continue to work toward this vision every day.
