Care Net

Mission

Care Net was founded in 1975 as the Christian Action Council by renowned scholar Dr. Harold O. J. Brown, with its primary focus to engage evangelicals in responding to the abortion crisis. Today, Care Net supports one of North America's largest networks of life-affirming pregnancy centers, and runs the nation's only real-time pregnancy decision coaching call center. In 2014 Care Net's affiliated non-profit centers served over 348,000 clients and saved communities $56,826,833. As Care Net has grown, so has our mission. Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, Care Net offers compassion, hope and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support. We envision a culture where women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families.

1.Equip a total of 4,000 more churches by the end of 2026 with Care Net’s Making Life Disciples curriculum to assist the Church in offering long-term discipleship to those making pregnancy decisions.
2.Expand our Pregnancy Decision Line with more coaches and more hours to effect transformational change resulting in positive pregnancy decisions and relationships with Jesus Christ.
3.Expand our Engaging Fathers' program to equip pregnancy centers to effectively minister to men through the pregnancy decision and offer discipleship as they embrace an abundant life through Christ.
