Given added hardships for patients caused by the pandemic, staff performed additional screening when interviewing patients for food insecurity and social service needs. When medical centers closed to outpatient clinic visits and visitors, CancerLINC met with patients in their homes, in our office, and even in public parking areas in their cars.
