Mission

The Bridge works in Virginia to transform the lives of troubled men and their families by providing behavioral and mental health services, vocational skills and training, education, and the relationships they need to bridge the gap from addiction to productive community and family life. At this residential treatment program, 100% of the men are fighting to overcome addiction and combat recidivism. The majority of those served are determined to have a high risk of recidivism, nearly 90% are homeless, 95% are unemployed, 20% are veterans, and 50% did not graduate from high school.

Vision

The vision of the Bridge is to bring people of all different backgrounds, ethnicities, races, and religions together to experience each others talent, ability, culture, and the gifts we have to serve those in need. Through our service, we fulfill a need within ourselves as we share our gifts and talents with each other.

Goals

1.The Bridge currently has an overall success rate of 86% and a 100% job placement rate. Success is determined by an individual not returning to their addiction or incarceration. Success is measured at least 2-5 years after they graduate.
