At Homestretch, our vision is a world where every family has the opportunity to achieve lasting stability and thrive in a supportive community. We are dedicated to transforming the lives of parents and children experiencing homelessness through safe housing, individualized case management, early childhood education, and robust social services.

Goals

1. 1.Examine our current intake and assessment process to improve client engagement and success. Revamp current life skills model to increase client participation and education; Use data received from current and former clients to strengthen Homestretch model. Improve outcomes that help families build long-term financial stability through workforce development, job coaching, and financial literacy.
2. 2.Optimize number of transitional housing units for families served. Assess opportunities to expand beyond the transitional housing model, including affordable housing developments and permanent supportive housing. Determine housing solutions for graduating client families.
3. 3.Improve Visibility and Recognition of Homestretch and Its Service Model. Create elevator pitch for board, staff, and client use; use data and storytelling to qualitatively demonstrate impact; strengthen grants narrative for winning proposals. Increase awareness, including media, stakeholder engagement, and like-minded service providers.
