Care Ring

Mission

Established in 1955, Care Ring is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health services for the uninsured, underinsured or those lacking access to affordable, high-quality health care. The organization annually serves more than 7,600 people in Mecklenburg County and is a leader in collaborative efforts to improve community health.

We envision a community that promotes, protects and improves the health and wellbeing of all people.

Goals

1.Strengthening organizational model to embrace a nimbler approach to programming, operations and resource development.
2.Expand NFP, growing the program’s capacity to match community need.
3.Implement a new business model for the Low-Cost Clinic, achieving a stable, replicable stream of revenue to sustain health services to low-income, uninsured patients.
