Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, Inc.

Mission

The Winston-Salem Rescue Mission is a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry helping our most vulnerable neighbors in their struggles, finding healing through the gospel and a new life in Jesus Christ. Since 1967, the Rescue Mission has been actively involved in meeting the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of hopeless and hurting people in our community through Outreach services and our recovery programs. Such services and programs provide clients with food, clothing, shelter, personal-care items, work therapy, biblical counseling, chapel services, addiction and life-skill classes.

1.Locate a strategic location and open a second Thrift Store.
2.Maximize, improve and expand our facilities to meet community needs by relocating our Life Builders (90 day) recovery program.
3.Strengthen and build our men’s recovery programs towards excellence and effectiveness (Pre-graduates, graduates and post-graduates).
