    Established in 1981, Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina strives through education, advocacy, and partnerships to eliminate hunger by the solicitation and distribution of food. We provide a regional distribution warehouse and branches that supply food and grocery items to charitable agencies that assist people in need. We serve 14 counties in North Carolina and 10 counties in South Carolina. The Food Bank provides food for 950+ partner agencies including soup kitchens, emergency pantries, residential care facilities, homeless shelters, senior programs, and low income daycares.
