Goal One: Invest strategically in Poe’s most important asset: our programs. People: define Poe’s reach via diverse Board members and staff to reflect those served in North Carolina. Programs: build statewide blended-model delivery and remain relevant. Community: prioritize target markets, programmatic investment, and marketing to support and amplify community building.
Goal Two: Implement a strategic development plan that addresses current operational needs while building ongoing organizational sustainability. People, Programs & Community: deepen relationships, match funding and program strategies, invest in cultivating community partnerships. Annual Fundraising and Financial Sustainability: align strategies with programs, engage stakeholders, and build marketing.
Goal Three: Develop and implement strategies in Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) change, Socio-Ecological Model (SEM), and coalition-building to empower communities. People: plan, train, and track staff and volunteers on PSE, SEM, community saturation models, and coalition-building for integrated strategies and consistent Poe messaging.
