Global Scholars

Mission

Global Scholars equips Christian professors to have a redemptive influence among their students, colleagues, universities, and academic disciplines. Ministering to professors in secular colleges and universities, we offer a full slate of programs proven to be effective in developing Christian scholars to be Christ's ambassadors, including mentoring, webinars, research databases, and editorial services. We have equipped professors in 92 nations, many of which are closed to traditional missionaries. Global Scholars started in 1986 as a sending agency for missional Christian academics. In 2019, we launched the Society of Christian Scholars to engage more professors, including indigenous Christian academics. In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, we equipped over 2100 professors in 75 countries.
