Mission

Families Moving Forward helps families in the crisis of homelessness find their way home. We provide temporary housing, case management, skills education, and connection to community resources to help parents and children thrive in stable homes.

Goals

1.Reveal the faces of family homelessness by increasing awareness of families experiencing homelessness and their unique needs in the Durham Community and additionally advocating for additional resources and policies to support families experiencing homelessness.
2.Be a great place to work by fostering a culture of strong team support and development, commitment to values that honor our team and community, and build resilience in funding, staffing and the volunteer program.
