Solve ME/CFS Initiative (Solve M.E.)

Mission

The Solve ME/CFS Initiative (Solve M.E.) is a non-profit organization that serves as a catalyst for critical research into diagnostics, treatments, and cures for myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), Long Covid and other infection-associated chronic conditions and illnesses (IACCIs). Our work with the scientific, medical, and pharmaceutical communities, advocacy with government agencies, and alliances with patient groups around the world is laying the foundation for breakthroughs that can improve the lives of millions who suffer from various “long haul” diseases.

Vision

A world free of ME/CFS, Long Covid, and other and other infection-associated chronic conditions and illnesses.

Goals

1.We aim to expand our Ramsay Research Grants and Catalyst Awards by increasing funding to support more high-quality pilot studies and early-career investigators. Additional investment will accelerate scientific discovery, bring new researchers into the field, and strengthen the pipeline of innovation for ME/CFS and related post-infectious diseases.
2.We are expanding our Advocacy and Engagement program to reach more patients, caregivers, and policymakers. With additional resources, we will grow our national grassroots network, increase educational offerings, and strengthen policy efforts aimed at improving clinical care, research investment, and federal action for ME/CFS and Long Covid.
