Mission

Roof Above, formerly Urban Ministry Center and Men's Shelter of Charlotte, is an interfaith, nonprofit organization whose mission is to unite the community to end homelessness, one life at a time. We carry out this mission by providing a continuum of services for people experiencing homelessness - from street outreach and basic services, to emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing.
