    Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers' (TROSA) is an innovative, multi-year residential program that empowers people with substance use disorders to be productive, recovering individuals by providing comprehensive treatment, experiential vocational training, education, and continuing care. Founded in 1994, TROSA is now the largest licensed residential therapeutic community in North Carolina and is widely respected for its innovative therapeutic approach to the pervasive issue of substance use disorder. Key elements of the two-year program include life skills and vocational training, education, mentoring, leadership training, counseling, and continuing care for program graduates. TROSA's program is cost-free, providing its residents with the time, tools, and resources to develop long-term recovery goals.
