Mission

Appalachian Voices brings people together to advance a just economic transition away from fossil fuels and toward a democratic, clean energy future. We partner with frontline groups to combat corporate polluters, secure inclusive clean energy policies, and foster wealth-building economic alternatives in areas that have historically relied on fossil fuels. In pursuit of our positive vision, we build effective grassroots campaigns that combine our organizing, technical, and policy expertise to elevate local perspectives and improve decision-making at every level, from local and state government to the White House.
