TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH TO SUPPORT END OF LIFE CARE AND TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE AND FUND NEEDS OF INDIGENT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, PROVIDE COMMUNITY BASED EDUCATION PROGRAMS RELATED TO PALLIATIVE CARE, AND SUPPORT MEDICAL RESEARCH.
