Mission

Docs for Tots brings together children’s doctors and communities to promote practices, policies and investments in children from prenatal to age five that foster children’s healthy development and future success.

Vision

As doctors, we are action-oriented and deeply committed to promoting the Docs for Tots vision: All families are able to fully support the healthy development of their children during early childhood. Supporting children’s development is the foundation for a healthy and successful society.

Goals

1.We collaborate with family and group family providers in Nassau County and Queens to support providers and help improve the social emotional wellbeing of the infants and toddlers in their care.
2.We connect families and providers to community resources and child development information with the mission of promoting optimal development of Long Island’s young children.
3.We are a proud partner of Raising New York: A statewide coalition dedicated to advocating for policies and system changes that will benefit families of infants and toddlers.
