Vision

Families thrust into the new and overwhelming world of a life-altering brain injury encounter many complicated decisions and unexpected challenges. BINA’s dedicated and professional staff is at their side every step of the way with critical patient advocacy and care navigation services including rehabilitation and medical referrals, crisis intervention and family support, medical advocacy, case management and insurance advocacy, and educational advocacy. Our goal is to meet every need and ensure that no brain injury survivor is alone as they struggle to navigate the long and difficult road to recovery.

Goals

1. 1.Planned future programs: Vocational services to accommodate return-to-work; Hiring of hospital liaison to advocate for the family from the time of illness or injury and develop relationships with hospital and facility teams; Growth and development of family events and retreats for caregivers and survivors, with special focus on programming for children of brain injury survivors
2. 2.Expansion of locations with referral specialists to better reach and service areas and communities with large client populations both in the U.S and abroad
3. 3.Raising our profile in the community to make people aware of our services; increasing brain injury awareness in the community and an understanding of why our services are important.
