Vision

Our vision and dream is for a cure so we can have a world free of pediatric brain tumors. We do look at a cure in many ways as well. We would love if brain tumors ceased to exist but if we cannot achieve this, then we would be overjoyed if we were able to find a therapeutic that may be taken so the disease can become a chronic one, where the child could live a full, long, and fruitful life just by taking the therapeutic as prescribed.

Goals

1. 1.Every organization should be amenable to change; being nimble and taking account of what is and is not working while being able to be actionable and not static when change is needed. We assess, score and make the adjustments needed to help ensure success for those whom we fight for every day. The NIH funding cuts have caused us to make changes to ensure collaborations exist and labs stay open.
2. 2.With our focus being to fund the highest quality and innovative research, we strive to be able to fund as many strong proposals possible. We look for creative ways to raise more funds for research while making the inputs driving the research stronger. By intimately knowing our projects, forcing collaborations and creating additional programs, we strive to increase the footprint needed for success.
3. 3.We constantly are in contact with our funded labs and programs to help raise advocacy highlighting the need for research. We assess our projects and programs quarterly helping us to achieve the greatest outcomes possible for our constituents. By being accountable for programmed outcomes we are able to increase support for our core thats working while making adjustments -cutting those that are not.
