    The mission of United Way of York County, SC is to help York County families achieve financial stability. We want to help local families who struggle to live above the poverty line gain financial independence. By focusing on the root causes of financial literacy and underemployment, we know we can move the needle in our community. Through our leadership in these areas of Financial Stability, we lead the charge in combating the cycle of poverty, providing an alternative to government assistance, and addressing the stigma around getting help. We partner with local charities, nonprofits, and other organizations that serve residents in York County.
