Miracle Hill Ministries

Mission

Miracle Hill Ministries exists to ensure that persons most in need receive food, shelter, and compassion while hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ and becoming productive members of society. In 1937, a group of Greenville businessmen established a small rescue mission in response to the devastation caused by the Great Depression. That small mission eventually became Miracle Hill Greenville Rescue Mission. <br><br>Today, Miracle Hill Ministries operates four rescue missions, two addiction recovery programs, a foster home community, transitional homes, a foster care program, a food ministry program, eight thrift stores, and an auto sales operation-all of which contribute to our mission to serve people experiencing homelessness in the upstate of South Carolina.

1.Miracle Hill provides shelter to nearly 650 individuals at any given moment. We operate four rescue missions, two recovery facilities, a large child-placing agency, and 16 transitional homes.
2.In recent years MH has greatly expanded our transitional housing capacity. We operate 6 facilities that service adults and now guests exiting all of those locations have access to transition.
3.More recovery beds for women experiencing addiction. In the last year, Miracle Hill has almost doubled our capacity to house and care for women exiting addiction.
