Mission

THE MISSION OF PROGRAMS FOR EXCEPTIONAL PEOPLE IS TO EMPOWER ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN SOUTHERN BEAUFORT COUNTY AND JASPER COUNTY BY PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND OFFERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL GROWTH AND MATURITY.

Vision

To provide an environment that enhances the quality of life for adults who live with unique intellectual, physical, and developmental attributes through a variety of vocational, wellness, educational, and social activities.

1.Continue to create and implement new onsite classes or activities
2.Partner with Beaufort and Jasper County Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (OIDD), the public school district, and other agencies to identify potential members eligible to participate in PEP Programs
3.Increase corporate and individual donations for unrestricted use for PEP’s operating and building expenses that are unable to be funded through grants.
