Mission

The Mary Ann Morris Animal Society, known as M.A.M.A.S., founded in 2001, has been a no-kill shelter dedicated to saving the lives of dogs who have fallen between life’s cracks since 2008. We take in the unwanted, stray, abused, and abandoned dogs in the rural county of Bamberg, South Carolina, regardless of their medical condition. We get these dogs off the street and care for them, emotionally and physically, while searching for their forever homes by utilizing our bi-weekly transport to deliver them to their forever home, allowing them to start a new chapter and experience the quality of life they deserve.
