Mission

The mission of United Way of the Coastal Empire is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham and Liberty Counties. Through partnerships, long-term planning and wise investment of donor contributions, United Way supports the social services safety net and advances opportunities for upward mobility for all. United Way supports nearly 90 community programs through 54 of the area's highest performing nonprofits and provides direct services to people through our 211 information and referral call center, county services centers and volunteer coordination.<br><br>
