Mission

United Way of Northwest Georgia works to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities in Northwest Georgia. Our vision is to be the preferred organization investing in programs to meet people's needs based on community priorities. United Way has evolved from a force in fundraising, to a community solutions provider - offering information and referral to residents of Northwest Georgia through their 2-1-1 Help Line.

1.Education: Get kids ready for kindergarten, reading at grade level by 3rd grade, and graduating on time with skills to be career and life-ready.
2.Basic Needs: Reduce the long term need for food, housing and utility assistance through life skills education and financial counseling.
3.Health: Support prevention services so youth and adults are healthy and avoid risky behaviors.
