Mission

The Durham Rescue Mission is a faith-based, non-profit organization. Our primary goal is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross. The Durham Rescue Mission is achieving this goal as we minister to the homeless and addicted in central North Carolina. Our Mission is to meet, through the power of Jesus Christ, the spiritual, educational, emotional, physical, social, and vocational needs of the whole person so that those who are hurting may become fully functioning members of society.

Goals

1.We are looking to complete renovations on our Good Samaritan Inn (women & children's facility) including major security updates, new daycare facilities and expanding our dining/kitchen areas.
2.We plan on enhancing our newly founded Career Development program with new career routes and more collaborative partnerships with companies and organizations in our area.
3.We are looking to start a campaign to raise funds needed to build a job training facility and permanent supportive housing for our clients.
