The mission of the Rheumatology Research Foundation is to improve the health of patients living with rheumatic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and gout. We accomplish this by being one of the largest private funding sources for rheumatology research and training in the United States. Through our support of groundbreaking research and essential training for rheumatologists and healthcare professionals, the Foundation empowers investigators to explore promising new ideas, leading to breakthroughs that improve patient outcomes, advance disease prevention, and bring us closer to finding cures for these life-altering conditions. 1.Ensure adequate supply of rheumatology providers; and rheumatology educators and investigators to train future clinicians. By supporting the education and training of rheumatologists and health professionals, we help build a robust pipeline of skilled specialists equipped to meet the growing demand for rheumatologic care and advance the field through research and mentorship.
2.Support the redesign of future rheumatology healthcare delivery by actively engaging academic and clinical rheumatology communities in forward thinking planning and adaptation efforts.
3.Develop infrastructure to support research that will demonstrate the value of care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
