    Founded in 1989, the mission of the United Way of Forsyth County is to improve lives in the community by mobilizing the caring power and spirit of its citizens. Today, the United Way of Forsyth County continues to raise money and invests it into health and human service programs. Program activities include: raising awareness of the community's needs and services, continuing to measure the priority of needs, facilitating the formation of partnerships to address unmet needs and cultivating greater support of local providers through volunteer coordination efforts.
