Mission

The Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center’s (CCAC) mission is to unite public, private, and community resources to provide each child who has suffered abuse with justice, hope, and healing. CCAC follows the National Children’s Alliance model for children’s advocacy centers. As such, the agency provides a full range of child abuse response services, including: - Forensic interviews by certified child interviewers - Crisis intervention and emotional support - Trauma-informed counseling - Case management - Assistance navigating the criminal justice system - Supportive resources and referrals for services such as medical care, legal counsel, and Victims Compensation - Support of children, families, law enforcement, and child protective agencies throughout the investigative process All CCAC services are confidential and provided at no charge to children and their non-offending family members.
