In addition to annually attending national conference for our organization affiliations, the staff regularly participates in leadership development opportunities. One such example would be hiring a StrengthsFinders consultant to perform the StrengthsFinders assessment for the entire staff. We also spent an entire day offsite discussing the results of our assessment and how that impacts our ability to work together with different personalities as well as how our strengths impact our work and skillset.

We seek partnership opportunities wherever possible, working with local health departments, nonprofit organizations, and local churches to further our mission. We are a part of a local coalition of pregnancy centers across the state of Georgia. We take part in local chamber of commerce activities as well as our local Family Connections group. Social media is a large part of our marketing as well.
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
In the past year, our nation saw numerous changes in the realm of abortion law. As an organization dedicated to advancing the Sanctity of Human Life and also serving women with compassionate care during what may be the most challenging time of their lives, the legality of abortion certainly impacts both the mindset of many clients as well as the demand for services such as ours. With so much misinformation rampant in the media as well as a rise in outrage, our centers had to be prepared for anything. There are numerous instances of vandalism and attacks at pregnancy centers nationwide. In order to protect our staff and clients, we adopted several new policies and measures to provide an additional layer of protection should these acts of vandalism hit closer to home. Our entire team has participated in training and webinars to ensure we are all thoroughly knowledgeable about the laws regarding abortion and the impact any changes may have on women in our state. This is key to ensure our ability to continue to provide up-to-date and accurate information to women facing a crisis pregnancy. We have also made adjustments to our website and social media marketing to reflect the changes in specific demand for abortion. Because our services of pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and options education serve as the first steps in any pregnancy decision, we saw these changes in abortion law as an opportunity to reach women who are considering abortion earlier in the process.
