The Mission of NGFDA is to provide education, information and assistance to individuals interested in the Appalachian and Hammered dulcimer. NGFDA sponsors educational activities to help musicians build upon existing skills and/or to develop new skills. The association also participates in activities that increase the general public's awareness of and appreciation for these musical instruments.
