Vision

With a focus on increasing equity, inclusion, and access to our gardens and programs, Wylde Center's vision is to lead communities in building resilience by fostering environmental stewardship, providing experiences in nature within the city, increasing exposure to locally grown food, and building skills in sustainable living.

Goals

1. 1.Conservation: Conserve urban greenspaces, restore native habitat, and provide communities with access to nature in the neighborhoods where they live.
2. 2.Environmental Education: Foster a deeper understanding of science, technology, arts, engineering, and math (STEAM) and improve student academic achievement.
3. 3.Community Engagement: Promote gardening, healthy living, sustainability, and a connection to the natural world through community gardens, volunteering, events and classes, and plant distribution.
