Mission

REACH THE WORLD MAKES THE BENEFITS OF TRAVEL ACCESSIBLE TO CLASSROOMS,INSPIRING STUDENTS TO BECOME CURIOUS, CONFIDENT AND COMPASSIONATE GLOBAL CITIZENS. ENABLED BY OUR VIRTUAL EXCHANGE PLATFORM, CLASSROOMS AND VOLUNTEER TRAVELERS EXPLORE THE WORLD TOGETHER.

Vision

A growing body of research shows that where a person grows up, goes to school, works, and travels can provide up to a 12-fold advantage in accessing opportunity. At Reach the World, we call this “the network gap” – and our vision is to close it so all students in the U.S. can engage in a reciprocal global network to find their own spark.

Goals

1.Create a reciprocal global network that includes at least 15,000 participants (travelers, students, teachers, explorers, corporate volunteers, and more!)
2.Facilitate at least 465 new applications to the Reach the World Traveler Program
3.Facilitate a minimum of 256 programs across all program types, maintaining an active global network of over 15,000 individuals during FY 2025-2026.
