Mission

Residing Hope, formerly known as the Florida United Methodist Children's Home, empowers children and families to experience God's love and care as revealed in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Children come to Residing Hope because of sexual abuse, physical abuse, abandonment, or because of family breakdown due to divorce, drug abuse, illness, or death of a parent. Over 300 children are served by Residing Hope on any given day. We provide residential care on two campuses, foster care, independent living, and community early education and development. Residing Hope is accredited by COA (Council on Accreditation), EAGLE (a program of the United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries).
