Vision

TFO aspires to UNITE-EDUCATE-INSPIRE and build community through the transformational power of music. Our non-profit vision is to serve our community as best as possible so as many as possible can enjoy and benefit from accessible, affordable, highest quality live symphonic performances and education and community impact programs.

Goals

1. 1.TFO 70 full-time professional musicians and conductors, graduates of top music schools, selected by competitive blind auditions, are dedicated to meeting highest professional standards and ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE. We aim to match that with excellence in artistic ops, education, development, administrative and support staff.
2. 2.We continue to develop new programs to meet evolving needs in the communities we serve, including free music education programs for public schools, Title 1 and Trauma Response schools, youth detention centers, foster-associated villages, libraries, senior and other community centers, and in partnerships with universities and colleges, arts and cultural organizations, and other non-profits.
3. 3.Senior staff take on volunteer membership and leadership roles in area chambers of commerce, downtown partnerships, junior league, state, regional and local leadership groups, striving to secure a sustainable future for TFO as a community resource, and enabling TFO to meet expectations and needs of growing audiences and remain a main contributor to quality of life.
