Mission

Bruce Harter Learning Pavilion’s (BHLP) mission is to enhance the quality of life and acceptance for infants through Pre-K students with social, emotional, physical, or developmental delays. As a specialized early learning center, BHLP integrates evidence-based early childhood education and literacy development with onsite therapeutic services and individualized support to foster developmental, social-emotional, and school readiness skills—preparing children for long-term success in school.

At The Bruce Harter Learning Pavilion, formerly The Dick Howser Center for Childhood Services, we’re more than just a preschool—we’re a smart-play preschool where children’s curiosity sparks their potential! By combining the power of play with expert guidance, we create a world we envision—an inclusive, dynamic environment that builds self-worth, social skills, and school readiness while inspiring a love of learning. Here, every child is empowered to grow, explore, and gain the confidence to shine—now and for a lifetime.
