Mission

The Miami Rowing Club (MRC), located in 3601 Rickenbacker Causway, Key Biscayne FL; strives to introduce and educate members of the Miami community on the benefits of rowing. Our organization welcomes members of all ages and backgrounds with multiple programs aimed at promoting self-confidence, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle with a primary focus on youth development. We strongly believe that educating young members of our community about the benefits of rowing will help guide them in maintaining a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally. In order to effectively broaden our reach amongst the young members of the community, our organization offers middle school and high school programs, summer camps, and scholarship opportunities to those in need.

Goals

1.MRC wants to expand itself to make bigger impacts in the local community and continue to offer more access to health and wellness programs via the sport of rowing.
2.Activate and expand the Scholarships program. It will help to make rowing possible for those who could not afford it and will offer more access to health and wellness activities in our community.
3.Experienced staff with a focus in developing and training young athletes from various backgrounds to row in different competitive levels from novice to elite rowing.
