In July 2022, several of our nurses completed an intensive ultrasound training programs in order to receive their sonogram certifications. Annually we hold HIPAA compliance and safety trainings for our clinic and administrative staff. Our Executive Director regularly consults with experts in fundraising, leadership, and nonprofit business development.

Our Executive Director, Clinic Director, and Development Director frequently consult with other like-minded nonprofits sharing schools of thought as well as effective strategies to propel our mission. Our Clinic Director is frequently contacted by other pregnancy resource centers for her expert knowledge sharing our proven model to reach women facing crisis pregnancies. Our Executive Director has presented at several conferences including, most recent, the October 2022 Choose Life Marketing conference in Texas. Our Clinic Director will also sit on a panel discussion at this same conference regarding her expert knowledge and experiences with telehealth for pregnancy resource centers. To raise awareness for our mission and cause, we hold an annual Walk for Life event as well as a Baby Bottle Boomerang event which are overseen by our Community Engagement Director. We also reach out through direct mail, email, social media posts, radio spots, and radio guest appearances.

During the initial phase of the COVID-19 shutdown, our clinics were closed and we were unable to see clients for a few weeks. We had to think outside the box for crisis pregnancy centers. We quickly pivoted to adding telehealth so that we could continue to reach and see clients as our services were still much needed. Once safety protocols were developed, we were able to reopen our physical clinic locations with the proper PPE supplies. PPE was difficult to acquire in the beginning, however, we persevered and continued to remain open for our clients. The addition of telehealth has significantly improved our in-person show rate for a client's first in-office appointment. We continue to utilize telehealth to this day and it is an integral part of our client services.
