    Founded in 1977, Copperhead Charities supports charities in the Tampa Bay area through professional golf tournaments. The members of Copperhead Charities are Tampa Bay community and business leaders whose two-fold goal is to provide a first-class professional golf tournament and raise funds for local charities. More than 50 Tampa Bay area charities actively participate in the Tampa Bay Championship through Birdies for Tampa Bay Charities. From 1977-2016, over $36 million has been donated to 100+ charities.
