Vision

St. Augustine Society envisions a future in which all those in St. Johns County have a safe, permanent place to call home.

Goals

1. 1.In 2025–2026, we will increase access to emergency shelter through a new Family Shelter at St. Francis Housing Crisis Center and strengthen trauma-informed, life-skills programming at Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center to better support youth facing homelessness and growing mental health challenges.
2. 2.St. Augustine Society is developing new evidence-informed frameworks in response to rising family homelessness, youth mental health needs, and growing adult complexities. These frameworks strengthen housing stability, life skills, and well-being, and we are also exploring a Street Academy initiative to support youth without a high school diploma.
3. 3.St. Augustine Society is strengthening its organizational capacity to better collect, analyze, and use data to guide program improvements. This investment improves financial and management systems, supports continuous quality improvement, and ensures we can deliver more effective, client-centered services across all programs.
