The Mission of the Florida Native Plant Society is to promote the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the native plants and native plant communities of Florida.

Vision

We envision a future where people have greater knowledge of and appreciation for Florida’s natural environment and where diverse native plants, communities, and ecosystems thrive.

Goals

1.As a society, FNPS is a community-oriented organization focused on plant habitat conservation. We are focused on connecting our members with each other and developing mentorship programs to engage our membership base with our conservation efforts, and further growing our land management review program.
2.Double our membership and action alert recipient list.
3.Develop new pathways for volunteerism with impact and develop educational programs to further the mission.
