Mission

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. We are proud to be the “Hometown Habitat” in Central Florida for the citizens of Seminole County and Apopka. Through our Homebuyers and Financial Education Programs, we serve over 300 people annually and make a local economic impact each year of over $13 million. Since the affiliate's founding, we have bettered the lives of more than 230 individuals and families.

Goals

1.Increase the number of hard-working, lower income individuals and families who achieve the American dream of homeownership, with a continued commitment to advance minority homeownership.
2.Equip more community members to increase their financial literacy and financial stability by further expanding the Habitat Financial Academy, creating for them a pathway to homeownership.
3.Increase the number of Habitat homes built and sold to further reduce the critical shortage of affordable, owner-occupied homes in Seminole County and Apopka.
