Mission
For over 76 years Miami and Broward Youth for Christ has enjoyed a distinctive history of youth outreach. The YFC organization began in 1945 with the objective of reaching young people by working together with the local community. By providing educational and outreach programs at no cost to the community, Miami and Broward Youth for Christ makes a significant impact in the lives of children and youth throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Youth for Christ reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other likeminded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.
Vision
Miami and Broward Youth for Christ is committed to empowering the children, youth, and families of our communities by providing faith-based services that enhance their emotional, spiritual, physical, and educational well-being through our educational and outreach programs. This vision establishes with stark clarity that we are called to mobilize many volunteers to increase the number of lost kids we engage today.
Goals
- 1.Position Miami and Broward Youth for Christ as the premiere resource for youth engagement, empowering at-risk and underserved youth to reach their God-given potential through dynamic programs and initiatives.
- 2.Position Miami and Broward Youth for Christ as a 3-Story centered organization, developing humble, Spirit-filled leaders and fostering a thriving, well-supported team of staff and volunteers.
- 3.Position Miami and Broward Youth for Christ to uphold ministry excellence, ensuring that all programs and initiatives are aligned with the mission and executed with the highest standards to maximize their impact on youth.
