SPAS is to protect and restore natural ecosystems important to birds and other wildlife through responsible activism and education by: functioning as a chapter of National Audubon Society and Audubon FL; provide conservation-related educational programs and activities; teach citizens to identify and advocate for local and migratory birds; and engage in communications and outreach with members and general public.
