Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami

Mission

All youth have BIG potential. Knowing this, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami (BBBS Miami) is committed to helping youth achieve that potential by creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. For over 60 years, we have served as South Florida's premier mentoring organization, matching at risk youth (Littles) with committed adult mentors (Bigs). These relationships- strategically matched based on Littles' needs and Bigs' backgrounds and skills, as well as common interests, aspirations, and personalities- empower Littles to achieve success in life and become productive members of the community. In addition to a variety of community and site-based mentoring programs, BBBS Miami provides a continuum of wrap-around services and support to ensure every youth has all they need to succeed, including Group Engagement & Mentoring, Impact Activities, and Graduate and Continuing Education programs.
