Mission

Home of the Innocents enriches the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness. Established in 1880, the Home provides therapeutic, loving residential care for 65 children who have faced abuse, abandonment, and neglect; skilled residential care for 76 medically complex children; care for children with behavioral health diagnoses; and services for families across the state of Kentucky. Home of the Innocents is a trusted resource for children and families in our community, providing person-centered, evidence-based services dedicated to improving lives. Last year, we had the privilege of serving 3,368 children and their families.
