    Mission

Neighborhood House is a community center for the whole family located in Louisville's west end. Our mission is to support families by creating a community of opportunity. Our primary program areas serve members “from the twinkle to the wrinkle:” -The Child Development Center (CDC) is a high quality early learning center for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. -The Youth Development Program offers afterschool programming, an all-day Dreamers’ Academy during the summer, and ongoing leadership development for school-age kids. -Pathways helps eliminate barriers for young adults ages 16-24—particularly those living in Portland, Shawnee, and Russell—and supports them in striving towards goals. -Family Engagement builds relationships with caregivers, connecting them to community partners and organizing events that strengthen family connections. -The Four Seasons Senior Program provides daily activities and a hot meal, helping members ages 55 and older stay active, maintain healthy social connections, and eat nutritious food. -The Emergency Food Pantry helps families stretch their grocery budgets. It is one of the only food pantries open five days a week in the west end.
