Mission

Founded 123 years ago as a settlement house and neighborhood community center in Louisville’s Butchertown neighborhood, Wesley House Community Services was established to support children and families in need. Our mission is to help people help themselves. Today, Wesley House serves families along the Preston Corridor and throughout South Louisville, providing education, youth development, and workforce programs that empower individuals and families to build stability, opportunity, and long-term success. Through a life-stage continuum of services, including early childhood education, youth enrichment, and adult workforce training, Wesley House supports individuals and families at critical stages of their lives while strengthening the vitality of the South Louisville community.
