Mission

Amazima is a Christian ministry based in Jinja, Uganda. Founded in 2008 by Katie Davis Majors, Amazima exists to make disciples of Jesus through authentic relationships, excellent education, and strengthened communities. Amazima provides excellent education to over 750 students at our primary and secondary schools. We also come alongside our student families by providing medical care, vocational training, and spiritual fellowship. We strive to transform lives, restore relationships, and change communities.

Goals

1.As our first class of students graduates in December 2024, we are looking to establish new programs for students who desire continued education either through University or a Vocational training path.
2.We hope to share our Amazima model for discipleship through education to other like-minded organization in Uganda in order to further our mission.
3.In order to achieve these goals, we recognize the need for investing in the capacity of our organization and equipping our staff to reach their goals with excellence.
