Wny Heroes Inc.
Mission
THE MISSION OF WNY HEROES IS TO PROVIDE VETERANS, MEMBERS OF THE ARMED SERVICES, AND THE WIDOWS AND CHILDREN OF DECEASED VETERANS WITH ACCESS TO ESSENTIAL SERVICES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES THAT SUPPORT THEIR LIVES AND SUSTAIN THEIR DIGNITY.
Vision
Providing Hope, Stability while sustaining their Dignity: A Path to Healing for Our Veterans Our veterans have given so much in service to our country, and in return, we must stand beside them when they need us most. To help them navigate the challenges of reintegration and recovery, we are committed to providing financial support to cover the most critical expenses for up to six months—ensuring their focus remains on healing, both mentally and physically. For a veteran and their immediate family, we will provide financial assistance for essential needs, including mortgage or rent, utilities, and food, during this difficult time. This support will allow them the space and security they need to focus on their mental health, medical needs, and emotional well-being, free from the financial pressures that often exacerbate stress and uncertainty.
Goals
- 1.Expanding our outreach to Veterans and their families is always our primary goal. As a Veterans organization, serving Veterans, we need to constantly adjust to meet the needs of those who served. No one (1) Veteran may be in need of the next.
- 2.WNY holds the second largest Veteran community to NYC and Long Island. In the early stages of WNYHeroes, we had the ability to cover eight (8) out of the 17 counties of WNY. Since then, we now cover fourteen (14) out of the 17 counties. by the end of 2025, our goal is to have the ability to cover all seventeen (17) counties that make up WNY.
- 3.Meeting our goals is not just about achieving numbers or hitting targets—it’s about showing a true, unwavering commitment to those who served and to their families as a whole. In today’s military, the service of one is the service of many. It’s no longer about the individual alone. It’s about the collective strength, sacrifice, and resilience of the entire family unit.
